The Destination Science program is developed by our own professional curriculum design team.  We base our activities on critical science concepts as defined by the National Science Standards.  Our design team combs the globe, to find the most “surprising” child-friendly materials to bring the science concepts to life.   With open eyes and open minds campers increase their confidence as they “work like scientists” through experimental design processes, balancing cooperative teamwork with their own unique creativity.  Additionally, the art of thinking outside the box is rewarded daily during our afternoon Creativity Challenges.  Parents rest assured that Destination Science is committed to reinforcing the 6 pillars of Character Development; trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, & citizenship (TRRFCC).  This distinct combination of scientific concepts, experimental processes, surprising materials, creativity & character education is our recipe for guaranteed camper delight!  We take FUN seriously!!

CAMP AT A GLANCE

Campers are assigned 14 to a group.  Typical groups are; 5 & 6 year olds together, 7 & 8 year olds together and 9, 10 & 11 year olds together. The week is well-planned, extremely busy & expectedly FUN!  

That is 20 Science Stations, 15 Outdoor Games & 5 Creativity Challenges per week! Parents & campers overwhelmingly rate our program an impressive “excellent” overall! 

Most of our locations offer AM Extended Care, M-F, 8 to 9am ($30/wk) & PM Extended Care, M-F, 3:30 to 5pm ($45/wk).
