How long is the camp experience?

Each camp experience is five consecutive days, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted. The minimum you can sign up for is one week.

How long is each day?

Each camp day begins at 9am and ends at 3:30pm.  Half days are available from 9am to noon, however these campers will not get the full experience of each activity. Extended hours are also available at many of our camp locations, extending camp days from 8am to 5pm. Please see individual locations for more information.

How do you group the children?

The campers are grouped by grade, ensuring that they are surrounded by and participating with kids their age.

Do you provide transportation?

Destination Science does not provide transportation to its camps. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up each day.

Do you provide lunch?

Campers are responsible for bringing a bag lunch with them each day.

Who makes up the staff at camp?

Most of our staff members are elementary teachers during the school year.  They are selected for their energy, enthusiasm & aptitude for science & kids.

What is Destination Science’s refund policy?

Cancellations received 30 or more days prior to the start of the enrolled camp session will be refunded all fees minus a $40 processing fee. Transfers between sessions & locations are permitted at any time if space is available.
