Camp Itinerary at a Glance

A typical week at Destination Science looks like this:


Campers are assigned 14 to a group.  Typical groups consist of 5 & 6 year olds together, 7 & 8 year olds together and 9, 10 & 11 year olds together. Below is a sample day’s itinerary:

 

8:50-9:05 Welcome and camper check-in
9:05-9:20 All-camp morning rally
9:20-10:20 Science spotlight — station 1
10:20-11:00 Snack, outside action activity
11:00-11:45 Science spotlight — station 2
11:45-12:00 Camper connections
12:00-1:00 Lunch, outside action activity
1:00-2:00 Science experience — station 3
2:00-2:30 Outside action activity with a splash!
2:30-3:00 Creativity Challenge
3:00-3:30 Science experience — station 4
3:30pm Wrap up, goodbyes and camper checkout

 

That’s the equivalent of 20 science activity stations, 15 outdoor games, and 5 creative challenges per week!

 

Seeking extended care?

Most of Destination Science’s locations offer morning extended care (Monday-Friday 8am-9am) for an additional $30/week, and afternoon extended care (Monday-Friday 3:30 to 5pm) for an additional $45/week. Please check your location’s availability, here.
