• If you are a  New Teacher or Site Assistant select the New Staff Online Application.
  
• If you have previously worked at Destination Science any time between 1999 and 2008 and did not work in 2009 select the New Staff Online Application
• If you are a Returning Teacher or Site Assistant from 2009 select the Returning Staff Online Application. 

The two postions we have available this summer are Teacher and Site Assistant. 

Teacher:

First & foremost we are looking for FUN, ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC teachers who thoroughly enjoy being with young children and are dedicated to making a connection with each child. Each camp week is planned, structured & busy!!  We are looking for teachers who are open to new ideas, enjoy science, appreciate the value of preparation and are capable of going with the flow. Destination Science provides you with the instruction manuals, lesson plans, all materials, teaching strategies and a wealth of resources. Teachers will be responsible for preparing materials on site as well as reading and absorbing the curriculum prior to that camp day. Teacher hours are full-time.

Site Assistant: (must be graduating high school by June 2010)

Just like the teachers, we are looking for site assistants who thoroughly enjoy being with young children and are dedicated to making a connection with each child. Site assistants are assigned  to be the facilitators of outdoor activities as well as be available to assist teachers at the site with any thing that may come up. Flexibility is a must! Specific duties of the site assistant will vary depending on the specific site they are assigned to. Site assistant hours are part-time.
